The determination of the weight or volume of cargo loaded or discharged by comparing the vessel’s displacement before and after the loading and discharging.
On hire / off hire surveys provide a detailed snapshot of a vessel’s condition. Our team of qualified surveyors will carry out a physical inspection of the vessel and compile a condition report with photographs. This document is an essential part to any commercial arrangements where the vessel is being leased, hired or sold.
Hull and Machinery – The purpose of a hull and machinery damage survey is to assess the damage that has been caused to a vessel and to identify the cause of that damage. To do this, an inspection is carried out of the vessel and its surrounding environment, together with an examination of any relevant documentation. The results of the survey will help to determine the extent of the damage, how it was caused and who is liable for it.
Are an essential part of the operation of a vessel. This is a detailed appraisal of a vessel’s condition. The survey is carried out by attendance on board the vessel to assess the vessel’s condition and compliance with class and statutory requirements. The surveyor will report on the general condition of the vessel, noting any areas of damage, wear, or disrepair.

Critical part of the vessel purchase process. Our team of experts will thoroughly inspect the ship inside and out, looking for any areas of concern or special needs that you may have. We’ll also provide you with a detailed Vessel Condition Valuation inspection report.
The aim of a loss prevention survey is to provide an early warning of potential incidents, rather than waiting for something to happen and then attempting to find out why it did.
Insurance
We offer detailed inspection of your boat’s exterior and interior mechanical components. As the surveyor inspects the boat, they’ll note any potential issues and present you with documentation that lists the current condition and seaworthiness of the vessel, as well as a value estimate.

Attendance services to ensure that cargos are handled correctly during loading and discharging. Our experienced supervisors will be present to independently verify the quantity of items loaded or discharged, and to ensure that all the cargo handling is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
